    I like this concept quite a bit. Somehow I got it right on my first try. I wonder if it's possible to make a seriously difficult puzzle with this idea

      @mathmasterzach: Interesting, though I don't think any graph can necessarily be easily converted into a grid puzzle like this. I've contemplated using graph theory for designing puzzles before but I never managed to get very far with it. This time it does seem promising though... I'll think about it!
